Corner Cottage is a truly perfect winter retreat. Home is where the heart is and we have just got back and unpacked but we can’t find ours🤔 .... think our hearts were left behind, probably on one of the windowsills looking out to sea or by the logburner gazing at the flames, possibly still snuggling under the goose down duvet or maybe taking an indulgent bath. We both had a little tear when we locked the door at the end of the fortnight to head back up the M5. What had made it feel even more like home was having our best (four-pawed) friend curled up at our feet in front of the fire at the end of each day.
The open plan kitchen is kitted out with a myriad of quality utensils, not least a great chefs knife and a Bose Sound pod to foster culinary creativity ... and kitchen dancing.
We only took the plunge and joined the Blue Tits for a chilly swim because we were safe in the knowledge that a steamy rejuvenating power shower with hot buttered toast and frothy fortified hot chocolate was only a hop, skip and a jump away.
When we weren’t out yomping the coast path scanning the waves with binoculars for seals and dolphins (yes, we spotted both), we ventured out to Falmouth, which has such cool indie-shops and bars and Porthleven too has a buzzing community with a fabulous pub, The Ship. Helston too has a wonderful pub, The Blue Anchor with their own beer brewed on the premises and a welcoming real fire ... we stumbled across too many great cafes and pubs to mention, even at this time of year the area has a great community vibe.
Corner Cottage is better than home (ours anyway) as the decor is beautifully fun and far removed from your usual ‘neutral to appeal to everyone’ bland awfulness but much more than this, it feels rooted into the hillside giving it a real feeling of permanence and security with its duvet of thatch and heated slate floors, its so wonderfully snug. Sleep is sound and rest is profound. Thank you Lindsay, we just can’t wait to return

Lindsay’s Corner Cottage is wonderful, quiet, full of charm, inspiring, place to stay and forget about daily hassles. It’s a beautiful, thatched cottage with stunning harbour and sea views, located at the seafront, close to everything that you may need. It’s 2 minutes walk to the beach and 1 min walk to the harbour. The cottage itself is beautifully decorated, and arriving here was like arriving home rather than a rental holiday place. It’s full of quirky items, paintings, and decorations. Wherever you look, there is something to catch your eye, and children found it very entertaining, and so did we. It was lovely to find the basket of local goods. Thank you, Lindsay! It is very thoughtful. The cottage has a front and back garden. The back garden is very cute, and the front garden was just perfect for sitting down with a cup of tea and watching my husband kayaking and fishing. Lindsay was a brilliant and very responsive host! We had a wonderful week in Corner Cottage. It’s a fantastic place to regenerate and get inspired!

We had a wonderful week in Corner Cottage. All the rooms are beautifully decorated, and it is very well equipped. The location is next to everything you need in the village, a quality shop, cafe etc., and it is so wonderful to be living so close to the sea, the beach and the activity of the harbour. Overall, it is an incredibly charming place to stay, would highly recommend it.

We’ve had a dream of a vacation at Lindsay’s place! Staying in her cottage is like spending time in magicland. It’s perfectly located in the lovely village of Coverack : in front of the shops, next to the harbour and with an extraordinary view on the bay. Eating on her charming patio amidst an enchanting garden with a view on the bay is difficult to beat! Lindsay has a real talent for decoration and design. Everything seems chosen with intention and love. You can feel her touch in each part of the cottage. We felt at home straight away and really heart broken when we had to leave... but we’ll be back! We went there by bus, wanting to feel free of parking hassle and loop hiking. There are amazing hikes from the cottage on the South West Coast Path to be done and anyway, just staying there, enjoying the place, the view is a treat in itself. Thank you Lindsay for all of it.

I fell in love with the pink front door and steps leading up to it last year when we stayed in another house in the village and I couldn’t wait to investigate the website and see inside. The booking process was very straight forward and communication was excellent.
On arrival my expectations were high and the cottage certainly didn’t disappoint - it is beautifully furnished and well equipped with the most comfortable beds and a super efficient shower. The open plan ground floor is spacious and yet cosy and although I stayed on my own the kitchen is very well equipped for a family/party of four. The little garden at the back and the front terrace are an absolute joy although I only managed to enjoy it on two sunny days before the weather took a turn for the worse, I couldn’t have asked for a cosier cottage to hunker down in though.

Coverack is a lovely village whatever the weather, I stayed here without a car but the village stores is very well stocked with all provisions. I made use of the lovely kitchen most of the time but can also recommend The Loft for delicious homemade soup and cakes. I also enjoyed going in The Seine Loft for a good rummage amongst the preloved books, locally made cards and gorgeous soaps. There are some lovely walks around the village and the coastal path is easy to access from the cottage, the beach and harbour are literally across the road and the sea views are amazing.

I can’t wait to return.

Perfect in every way, the cottage is immaculate and so well positioned in Coverack. Lindsay’s communication from start to finish was on point. We will be back

We have had the best time here! The cottage is absolutely beautiful and the experience you provide is amazing. We were originally hoping to be here on our mini-moon, and although things haven’t gone to plan, this week and Corner Cottage have more than made up for all the stress of wedding postponements!
We’ve been incredibly lucky with the weather too, making the most of it in the harbour and at the beach.
Our only question is when can we come back?!

We spent 2 weeks in Corner Cottage and could have stayed for longer! Everything in the cottage is to the highest standard. From Global knives, copper pans and an electric Aga in the kitchen, pretty sitting room with log burning stove, claw foot bath, larger shower and cosy underfloor heating we would not change a thing.

After a day walking the coast, an evening sitting on the sun-warmed harbour wall with a drink from the local pub and supper cooked in the well-equipped kitchen, we snuggled into our comfy beds with the Hungarian goose down duvets and pillows, perfect!

We have been to Coverack many times, we love it, there is so much to do and to be able to walk across the road, from that delightful front garden to the bay for a swim was a real bonus.

A truly wonderful cottage holiday, thank you.

We have spent years visiting Cornwall and have stayed in both luxurious and some not so luxurious cottages and thought that we had seen everything.
We booked the Corner Cottage after spotting it while in Coverack for the day, the exterior was picture postcard quality, how surprised were we when we actually saw the interior, inglenook fireplace, comfortable settees, oak beams, modern kitchen with all amenities and underfloor heating, and that was only the ground floor.
Upstair was a spacious bathroom with a bath and fabulous shower, two bedrooms with beds that you never wanted to get out of and a view over the harbour to die for.
The back garden was peaceful with chairs to relax and a shed with freezer and washing machine.
The front patio is fabulous with views that you could watch all day long.
This is by far the most luxurious cottage that we have stayed in, top notch.
